Dubai British School students bag Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards
November 20, 2017, 6:15 am GMTSeven students from Dubai British School have been recognised for earning top marks in the UAE and the world in their 2017 GCSE examinations.
Susana Domene-marin earned the highest mark in the world in GCSE Art and Design, French, Further Additional Science, and Spanish.
Ralph Al Hussaimi also topped global scores in GCSE Geography and Art and Design.
Commenting on the results, Dubai British School principal Brendon Fulton said: "As an inclusive, non-selective school, we could not be prouder of these results. Our students experience success in a variety of ways, and this level of academic success, for so many of them, will indeed be a highlight when reflecting on last year.
"The fact that our students continue to achieve outstanding academic results year-on-year is testament to our school vision of "Enjoy, Aspire, Achieve" – we fully believe that all students can experience success if they are taught to love learning and have high aspirations for themselves."
