R Holding to open Ajman's largest school in 2017
June 28, 2016, 8:40 am GMTR Education & Academic Development (READ), the education arm of R Holding, will open Ajman's largest school in 2017.
The City School, an AED 110 million project, will spread over a land area of 500,000 square feet with 200,000 square feet of open space, making it the largest in the emirate.
The campus will feature state-of-the-art classrooms and libraries with ample, age-appropriate reading resources. In addition, it will focus on providing practical training to the students in all areas of academic and extra-curricular activities, with students being given access to well-equipped science and computer laboratories.
Along with the outdoor sporting facilities featuring race tracks, basketball, tennis and badminton courts, the school will also provide a playpen and rumpus room for the younger students. Well-equipped music and art rooms will be available for the use of the students. The school will also feature a well-resourced medical clinic with a paediatric nurse available at all times.
Construction of the school is expected to be completed by the end of the year; enrolments for the 2017 academic year will begin later this year.

READ also operates City University College of Ajman (CUCA), which it developed in 2012.
