GEMS partners with iD Tech to bring tech camp to Dubai
February 16, 2017, 2:15 pm GMTGEMS Education has partnered with iD Tech, a US-based tech camp and STEM education provider to bring technology camps to Dubai this summer.
The camp will be held at GEMS Nations Academy and students will work on creating an impressive project and build skills for college and beyond.
A variety of one-week programs will be offered to GEMS and non-GEMS students over an eight week period beginning July 2. Registration is now open and students are welcome to enrol in multiple courses throughout the summer. The courses for kids and teens include Java and C++ coding, LEGO and VEX robotics, in addition to engineering and game design courses.
The programme offers one-on-one teaching with only eight students per instructor. During the programme, iD Tech will deliver the academic rigor and hands-on experience that students need to be competitive in the future.

iD Tech has over 150 locations in the US including Stanford, Harvard, Princeton and NYU and has had over 300,000 students pass through its camps since 1999.
